Judenite Alumni Dominate 40+ Basketball Tournament
SJCS Alumni Prove Excellence Knows No Age in 2026 Fil-Chi Basketball Tournament
Age is just a number when passion, discipline, and teamwork remain strong.
Our SJCS alumni once again demonstrated that athletic excellence continues well beyond their school years, as both our Below 40 and 50-Up teams delivered outstanding performances in the 2026 tournament organized by the Fil-Chi Athletic Association Inc. at Tanduay Gym.
Strength in the 30–39 Division
Last February 6, 2026, our Below 40 alumni faced CKSCAA in the highly competitive 30–39 Division — and emerged victorious.
The win was more than just a score on the board. It was a display of:
- Strong leadership on and off the court
- Strategic execution
- Deep teamwork built on years of camaraderie
- The unmistakable Judenite fighting spirit
Their performance reflects how SJCS alumni continue to embody discipline and excellence — qualities formed during their formative years and carried well into adulthood.
Excellence in the 50-Up Division
Just days earlier, on February 2, 2026, our 50-Up team showcased resilience and skill in their matchup against TSA in the 50-Up Division.
Proving that competitive spirit thrives at any age, the team demonstrated:
- Smart court awareness
- Efficient ball movement
- Consistent defensive pressure
- Veteran composure under game-time intensity
A special recognition goes to Christopher Co (#33, Duralite – SJCS), who earned Best Player of the Game honors in the 50’s Division with:
- 15 points
- 8 rebounds
- 5 assists
His performance exemplifies the continued competence, athletic discipline, and high-level performance of our alumni — showing that skill does not fade, it evolves.
Sports Beyond 40: A Culture of Lifelong Excellence
These victories are not just athletic milestones. They reflect something deeper:
- Lifelong commitment to health and fitness
- Sustained competitive drive
- Strong alumni connection and brotherhood
- Leadership that extends beyond the court
The SJCS alumni community continues to prove that sports participation after 40 — and even beyond 50 — builds not only physical strength but also mental sharpness, teamwork, and enduring camaraderie.
From the 30–39 Division to the 50-Up category, our alumni embody what it truly means to stay active, capable, and competitive at every stage of life.
Congratulations to all our players for representing SJCS with pride, excellence, and unwavering Judenite spirit.
