Board of Trustees 2012-2013 ElectedSaturday, 5 November 2011
Saint Jude Catholic School Alumni Association (SJCSAA) held its biennial election for Board of Trustees last Oct. 24, 2011 (MON) at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the school. The event was organized by outgoing President Johann Tan '82 and was attended by representatives from 30 batches. Theme of the night was 'Back to School' and a sumptuous buffet was catered by "The Hearty Onion," owned by fellow Judenite Eunice Weeguanco. Alumni from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's enjoyed intermingling with each other and chitchatting throughout the night. Fr. Bernard Collera SVD, current school principal of the school, also graced the occasion. SJCSAA President Johann Tan thanked everyone for coming that night and reported to the batch reps the activities the Board undertook during his term as president. These are
Election for the 15-member SJCSAA Board of Trustees for 2012-2013 followed right after. The election was overseen by Comelec members composed of Judy Sy '73, Edwin Ngo '85, Jennifer Cheng-Ong '91 and Aldrin Chua (2011).. After the counting and tallying of votes, the 15 winning trustees were announced and presented to the alumni body. The new Board of Trustees then held their very first board meeting to elect the president and the treasurer of the board as mandated by the SJCSAA constitution. Congratulations to Richard Cuan '81 for being elected by the incoming board to be the new president of the alumni association and to Ana Melissa Yao-Bate '91 for being elected as treasurer.
